Modifying B310 brackets to fit B110 chassis
Many, many other seats will fit into your Datsun 1200. You can use flat plates to adapt the 1200 rails to the new seats:
Chassis Brackets - for flat seat runners
Just get 2 lengths of 50mm x 5mm flat bar bolted to the bottom of the seat front to back (or side to side) and then bolt the B110 rails to the flat bar. On some seats you may need to grind a bit off the Datsun runner if it hits the bolt that holds the seat to the flat bar.
Rear Seats
Australia Legalities
Seats must be mod plated (conform to Australia Design Rules).
Be really careful when fitting different rails to different seats, like Datsun rails to Toyota seats. Reportedly, Engineers have said it is very difficult to get them mod plated, which all aftermarket seats have to be. You really need to spend some extra coin and at least get an engineer to design your fabrication. Then have th4 engineer do the work, or you can do the work and have the engineer to mod plate it for you.
