    Gearbox Bearings

    • Use a general bearing supplier, like CBC Bearings or SKF. They should be able to supply them if you can give them the numbers off the existing bearings, they have them in stock and far less dollars than Nissan. This is one case where buying from Nissan is not economical.

    PUSHRODS Recall that pushrods come in two stock lengths:

    • short-deck engines (A10, A12, A12A, and late A13)
    • tall-deck engines (1974 A13, all A14 and A15)


    • Datrats - Custom pushrods made to length from VW pushrods and using the A-series cup. They sit the turned down cup shaft on a ledge in the alloy. Custom made to your length and cheap.


    ROLLER PUSHRODS

    • Many local speed shops can make custom pushrods
    • Yella Terra sold their pushrod tooling to "Head Stud Developments" in Melbourne
    • Crow Cams also provide pushrods to customer order, approx. 6.650-6.600 inches long (for A14/A15 subject to your needs) 0.080 wall thickness, Chrome Moly
    • Iskenderian Part# 1235L+.50. - custom pushrods for roller rockers (small block Chevy, +0.050 inch length), 8mm (5/16") ball ends

    • wikipedia:BMC A-serie engine use the same valvespring sizes as the Datsun A-series -- partE S-002-8. Approx. $58.81 USD
    • Nissan Motorsport competition dual springs with aluminum retainers. These are for high-rpm use with a compatible camshaft.
    • Crane (discontinued) part# 902-0002 are a single spring rated at 80 lbs. closed at 1.531" installed height, and 209 lbs. at 1.131".
    • Crane Mini springs (for Austin Mini)
    • Iskenderian JA-006 inner springs (for dual spring use) are the right diameter but not enough pressure.
