You can use the bearing retainer (triangular shaped plate behind the bearing) to pull off the old bearing using a small puller. Or try to repack the bearing.

Bearing Repack: Carefully pry up a bit of the retainer and pack it with high-temp wheel bearing grease. Then carefully tamp the metal back down.
Follow up by cleaning the slip rings and polish with super-fine (400 or 600 grit) non-ferrite sand paper. |

One solution I was using was to just slow down and ease up the moment it would do that but that seems decremental to the end result I want. |

bought some RA1's in late 07? yeah to use at the bitumen sprints and hillclimbs. So far they've probly done mabey 350kms or something. I'll fix that this year :)
Note the Stanza slotted brakes, they work alright but I'd like to get that nomad setup completed as they fit under these wheels too. |
