| Here are the two new secondhand fenders, and also the spoiler that they will fit for me. They are from a UTE, and have the smaller more square indicator lights. They supplied them with the fenders. Had a lot of fun kicking the front window out, but it wasn't so much fun when I had to start picking pieces of glass out of my son's feet. Be carefull when removing windows more so when thare are little feet around... |

| The car had a slight prang with the previous owner, and as a result the radiator cradle got a little bent, and the fenders where mashed up. I sorted out the radiator cradle while fitting the new radiator and intercooler, but the fenders was realy a mess. I ought two new secondhand ones. They are inside the car. |

| The circles are where the various badges went. You can see on the c-pillar where some of the GX badges went, and where the Datsun badgs went on the rear fenders. Also on the lefthand side of the boot where another GX badges was, and on the right side a Datsun badge. Something makes me think that they had far to many badges when the built these little cars. |

| After dropping the car of at the panel beaters, and driving home, I suddenly realised that I had never taken any pictures of the car's outside before starting to work on it. On Monday morning I rushed into the city to get pics before they started to work on it. It was'nt a total waste, as I also picked op a new bonnet on the way in. |

| Last dyno reading , not very clear but came to 93 Hp on the 2.5 Garret. I would like to get a new reading with the T2.7 and new GReddy dumpvalve setup. The wastegate was sping operated and kept partially open before and lost a lot of boost. |

ok after going though a couple of books of inserts sizes i came up with a pretty good thing for what i was after .
1981 nissan pulsar inserts are the same external size only shorter by 82 mm (3 1/4 in) so if you are after lower with out banging on the spring mounts this is a easy way to go only 10mm (3/8) shorter in the stroke ok i have the part number this time i have just done a set of 120y struts the same way but it had after market inserts allready and i had to cut the whole 82 mm off this time to suit the lock caps .
Monroe part number is (25-3436) replaces WGC-3436 , touring gas cartridge |
