stanza came with two types of brake setup
you would want the 'Girlock' caliper struts, later models.
what year ute? check bolt centre of the two bolts
that hold strut to the steering arm , or

if you can get the front end from the stanza complete control arms too , would best
but do a search and read up! plenty of info here

Offsets are more than likely going to be different.

It could present a problem with your new wheels.

stanza's the way to go
easy upgrade, easy work and cheap. just make sure you get the ones with the girlok calipers though, and if you can get the whole front assembly ... strut tops to control arm pivot bolts and a set of 120y radius rods.
you'll end up with about 30mm or so wider track and more negative camber. so if your tyres are close to the guards already you may need to get the lips rolled and the guards pumped out a bit.

If you are going to eventually go for a bigger motor ie/ CA18DET etc. I'd suggest some S13 / 180sx brakes & calipers on some 120Y or Stanza struts..... You just need an adaptor plate for the the calipers - Can fix you up with adaptor plates, PM me if interested.

as per boofheads comments there - BUT

you may need to swap the struts right-to-left and left-to-right to clear the steering arms. also mounts the calipers INBOARD for better weight distribution. if you choose the girlock calipers, this is a must. but then, it's not worth choosing anything BUT the girlock calipers.

you can also equalise the track by fitting a BW KE30 corolla diff, which is 30mm wider than the 1200 diff. then you have a car with 30mm wider track - back AND front - for better handling again! get the handbrake handle and cable too if you do this.
