need to fix up the air intake and put a bigger throttle, i hear a CA20, or old skyline is a pretty good swap, any ideas???
For all you CA guys i found a site called nissanexa.com, i know i hate the ugly things too, but they came out with FWD CA's so there is a lot of good info there. |

| I used a vac advance unit from a stanza dissy cause I had one,it felt a bit stronger than the 1200 one but the advantage is the "prong" faces upwards.Change the spring and tab with the ones from the e15 to get correct tension. |

From an original 1000 coupe brochure. The text is correct, but.....
The photo shows an engine with a single outlet exhaust manifold & the trans is a three speed, neither of which were ever used in a coupe.
Its all a brochure writers fancifull imagination. This version of the engine developed 62hp, but only a 1000 coupe nut would pick it.
Edit. The pressed steel pulley & lack of heat valve in the hot box of the manifold make it an early '67 engine. |
