Here are a couple of oil filter alternatives. If it saves one person from opening all the boxes at at the autoparts store then I guess it's worth it.
These fit the 3/4"-16 thread of the stock oil pump. Same thread as most Ford/Chryslers. I had to grind a little off of the engine block (a12) to get the extra width to fit. You could probably do it with a big file. The 977a will hang about even with the bottom of the oil pan. |

| Go on, say it...it needs a lowering job and that wing is huge. I get mixed reactions. Ute is already lowered and rides on 18's plus it is going to be the tow car for the rally car (mistake?), so dont want it too low, tow pack is now fitted. |

going from top left.
1.A12 bored to 1300, GX head large valves, port/polished. balanced race cam. 2 x weber 45mm. just over 1,500 REAL km's on engine.
2. custom airdam/front flare in 1 piece. custom rear flare. new windows all round.
3. :] this car is used only for exhibition purposes now.
4. custom monster wing, 2" exhaust ssteel, 4-1 extractors.
5. sexy sexy sexy. Jaguar leather all round incl jag interior lights on centre console. redone carpet.
6. desecrated GX bonnet w/ custom Jaguar E-Type inlets. airflow str8 onto twin weber / dizzy.
7. & 8. A15 bored to 1640cc! 32/36 downdraft weber. all else stock in engine. has done more than 500,000 Kms reliably =]
9. repair after wooden door/wind incident.
the black ute was for sale a while ago for 15k but i dont think he really wanted to sell it at all !
this guy (who owns these amazing 1200's)still has the mould for the front airdam/flares so if your seriously interested in buying one i can find out. post your interest here or PM. i dont know price. serious buyers only, in AU/NZ. |
