| Whilst all the engine stuff was being done got the headlight surounds and grill re chromed. Pretty expensive though, $250 later!! Its a good job, not perfect but yeah, pissed off cause they quoted me $150 before the job. |

Got the head & cam back in the last 2 weeks so its been all go in the shed. Dialed the cam in fine, didnt get it DEAD on but was about 5 degrees advanced. The head got a service, water galleries pluged up and new double valve springs for the higher lifting cam (needs more tension).
The twin 40's and Datrat extractors complete the A series package me thinks... |

| 72 sedan with a mild A12 with a mildly ported A14 head , extractors into a 1-3/4 sports exhaust , reco automatic ( long story ) , reset leaf springs ( came with the car and took me about an hour to fit ) sunny front struts and brakes , enkie cross fever wheels , just needs a respray due to the usual rust . |

| this coupe has a slightly lower hood than the sedan or wagon and it has a distinct resemblance to the early mustang sloping turret and bootline, it's a nice looking car and I believe that ther'es not that many about, they are the aftermarket import I've been reliably informed by a self professed expert of the early datsun range. Well what really I meant is, " they were'nt sold in Australia as an off the shelf vehicle |
