| You have to machine/grind the out part of the hub down to about 140mm diameter so the silvia rotor fits over it. This one was machined down in a lathe. |

The make is Girlock, I don't know if they are a local make, but they do look substantial. I will upgrade the brakes even more in the future, when budget allows. Thought that the newer 1400 bakkie's struts were a logical step in between, as a prerequisite for further upgrades. I don't feel comfortable with fitting different struts altogether...
Also I'm sure one can make a set of Golf MK1 calipers and vented disks fit in here without so much trouble... |

I cut the original mountings of, and painted it with heat resistant black. Will drill the holes for the mountings once I fit the engine again.
Still looking for those castle nuts though... |
