I mean its not perfect but frrom a 25 year old car sitting in a padock for more than 7 years with no body attention, fading paint and scratches & chips everywhere i reckon its come up pretty well!!!
I did it in 3 stages using: Kitten cutting compound then Kitten cut and polish compound (1 or 2 coats dedenped) then finished it off with Repco polish! Thing that shocked me is how smooth it is compared to what it used to be, now ive just got to do the whole car, arggg |

Our first session on the Dyno with the new Boost Cooler Water injection system installed.
The net result was an increase of 20hp at the rear wheels, and conistsantly low temps in the intake manifold.
We did three runs without water injection to establish a baseline (red line), best run was 189hp at the rear wheels. This figure is about 7hp better than the last time we were at the same dyno. Two possibilitie are 1) The engine was brand new last time and has now done four track days - so it may have loosened up a bit OR 2) The ambient temp today was about 10 degrees cooler. Also what we saw was the intake temps rise after each of the three runs - getting up to about 40 degrees during the third run. If this increase was happening after 3 runs, I can only guess where the temps were when we last tuned the car after two hours on the Dyno!
As soon as we hooked up the Water Injection, temps dropped to between 25-27 degrees and did not venture over this mark for the next 90 minutes of tuning! So approx a 13 degree temp drop off the bat - but mre importantly - a consistant temp to work with.
At the end of the day we extracted 209hp and a substantial increase in torque up from 700lb's initially to 860lb's at the end of the session.
The good news is there is more left in it! The new turbo will be built soon, and the ead will be looked over with more suitable cams going in.

| i won 4 of these 30mm horns on ebay and had them in 5 days from germany!! ended up being $20 a horn. they fit (too) snuggly under the K&N filter box so im going to diy an airbox with the use of an A series rocker cover. all installed now. sound is slightly throatier and after a quick mixture tune it was running happier than ever.. the air horns are made of aircraft grade alum and are machined and honed to perfection. |

replacement for gemini radiator. this had better be the end of my engines heating complex. i have to run my coupe with the heater on to stop it from heating up too fast and thats in winter. motor has been bored out and tends to warm up fast. approx 1550cc
radiator cost $30 from a local wrecker and testing/repair/new cap/spray cost ~$100.
the hose pipes seem to be nice and small, like on the datsun engine.. unlike whats on the gemini radiator. this radiator also has a drain plug, unlike the gemini radiator. go the (other) nissan bits! |

Note that all B210s 1977 came with 3.7 gears (except autos with the usual 3.9)
All 5-speeds were the "big" 63-series trans. Perhaps Nissan used this one for the big overdrive -- the miser B210 model got 50mpg that year. |

Underside view shows tight (3.5mm) clearance between intake and exhaust manifolds.
I doubt any header will clear GX intake, but I don't know of anyone else running this setup, so it really doesn't matter does it? |
